Fred Holidays has launched a campaign, Extraordinary Encounters, focussed on “unforgettable journeys that transcend the ordinary” across land, river and sea.
The 32-page brochure spotlights “once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences” with a range of packages, including combined cruises, small group trips and guided tours in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America.
Partner tour operators G Adventures, Wendy Wu Tours and Collette feature and highlights include spotting giant tortoises in the Galapagos, experiencing a chuck wagon dinner and cowboy entertainment in the USA, seeing the terracotta warriors in Xi’an, China and searching for tigers in Ranthambore National Park, India.
One sample package is a 26-night Ultimate Japan cruise and tour which comprises a nine-night trip with Wendy Wu Tours and a 14-night full-board cruise on Azamara Pursuit.
Another is the 10-night Classical Rhine, Glacier Express & Gornergrat Railway river and rail tour which is made up of a seven-night Amadeus River Cruises, a scenic rail journey on the Gornergrat Railway and Glacier Express from Zermatt to Chur, two nights in Zermatt and one night in Chur.
A digital version with sales assets will be accessible through the Fred Holidays agent portal, and hard copies will be distributed to key partners or agents can request these with their business development manager.
Fred Holidays has also introduced a trade incentive, Extraordinary Rewards, offering agents the chance to earn up to £1,000 in One4All vouchers per booking.
New bookings for all new Fred Holidays packages between April 4 and June 26 will qualify for the reward and the voucher amount will be based on the value of the trip.
In addition, there will be a bonus Easter giveaway giving agents the chance to become an "EGGstraordinary winner".
Agents booking any new Fred Holidays package in the lead-up to Easter will be entered into a draw to win an EGGstraordinary Freddo Easter chocolate gift box, and winners will be announced on April 14.
Tricia Birmingham, Fred Holidays director of tour operations, said: “Travellers today crave a blend of adventure and comfort, balancing independent discovery with expertly guided experiences.
“We are seeing key trends in luxury and immersive travel, sustainability and combining elements such as rail and sail to explore regions more comprehensively.
“Our new campaign highlights these hybrid travel styles, combining the expertise of our own team with that of trusted partners - Collette, Wendy Wu Tours, and G Adventures - to offer truly extraordinary encounters.”
