Fred Olsen Travel has hosted its second marketing conference on board Cunard’s Queen Mary 2.
Six of the agency’s retail marketing team joined a three-night sailing in July to plan activity into 2026, including turn-of-year campaigns.
Cunard provided a private meeting room and refreshments for the team’s dedicated sea-day marketing review meeting, which included brainstorming, team building and business updates.
Attendees also had behind-the-scenes access to the ship with a Britannia Restaurant galley tour hosted by the executive chef and head chef and a bridge tour with Captain Aseem Hashmi.
They also had an opportunity to explore the city of Bruges and try onboard experiences such as afternoon tea.
Sharon Ingle, head of retail marketing, said: “I really do enjoy getting our team away together and having quality time to share ideas outside of the office environment.
“We were thrilled to have the chance to experience the iconic Queen Mary 2 and everything that the Cunard brand represents, and the setting sparked valuable conversations and gave us renewed energy and alignment as we look ahead to 2026.”
Ingle attended with Amy Butcher, retail marketing team leader; Jenna Chinery, senior marketing and design executive; Rhea Pizzey, marketing and design executive; Maggie Deer, marketing assistant; and Katie Vagnerova, marketing apprentice (all pictured).
