Freedom flies to Croatia

FREEDOM Flights will offer seat-only deals to Croatia for the first time in 2005.

The air fares will be based on Excel Airways' programme to Split and be agent commissionable. The new route will be reviewed at the end of summer 2005.

Managing director Paul Moss said the charter flight operator decided on the launch because it had identified two growing markets: independent travellers seeking dynamic packages in Croatia, and Britons buying second homes in the former-Yugoslavian state.

The Split flights will operate on Mondays between May 2 and October 31 using Excel's one-class 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
