G Adventures has revived its programme of Sri Lanka sailings, which were paused more than five years ago because of the pandemic.
The escorted catamaran trips along the island’s southern coastline can also be combined with existing land-based itineraries, creating holidays of up to 14 nights.
Vince Donnelly, G Adventures’ global sailing director, said: “There’s no better way to explore the beauty of Sri Lanka and the trip is the perfect mix of adventure and chill, with spectacular wildlife, sunrise swims, delicious food and time in local villages where residents welcome you like family.
“With demand for Sri Lanka growing, we knew it was time to bring this one back into the spotlight and do more to support a country that’s been through so much in recent years.”
The relaunch of the seven-day ‘Sri Lanka Sailing - South Coast’ trip comes as the operator reports a 29% year-on-year increase in demand for Sri Lanka over the past 12 months.
The sailing trip costs from £1,259, with departures from December 14. International flights are not included.
