Gatwick gains Condor as new entrant 

German low cost airline Condor is making its UK debut with a new service between Gatwick and Frankfurt.

Three flights a day have been scheduled from April 2026.

The route provides connections onto the carrier’s long-haul leisure network to destinations including the Caribbean, Cancun and Los Cabos in Mexico, Bangkok and Johannesburg.

Condor chief executive Peter Gerber said: “With London Gatwick, we are adding another exciting metropolis to our city network, offering business travellers and city tourists even more options. 

“The launch of this route is another clear signal of our growth in the European market.”

Gatwick chief commercial officer Jonathan Pollard added: “We’re delighted to welcome Condor to London Gatwick, providing an important gateway to Frankfurt for passengers across London and the southeast. 

“This is a key link between London and one of Europe’s most influential financial hubs, and with Frankfurt’s excellent cultural offering, Condor’s three daily flights will provide excellent connectivity for business and leisure passengers.”
