Gullivers buys Pacific International Holdings for £9m

GULLIVERS Travel Group has bought Pacific International Holdings – owners of Talpacific Holidays – for £9 million.

Talpacific Holidays offers tailor-made itineraries to Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific islands. Director Edwin Doran described its purchase as “great news”.

“It will improve our purchasing power and increase our competitiveness,” said Doran, who owns travel agency Edwin Dorin Travel in Twickenham, Middlesex.

Gullivers, bought by Cendant earlier this year, is the largest outbound travel services group in New Zealand.
