Hays Travel PTCs head appointed SPAA vice-president 

Tanya Cooper from Hays Travel has been appointed vice-president of the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) with her term set to start at the end of the year.

The head of Personal Travel Consultants (PTC) homeworking operations and PTC Recruitment at Hays Travel, will succeed current vice president Alan Glen. 

The Glen Travel owner will take up the role of president, succeeding Internova Leisure boss Jacqueline Dobson, who moves into the position of immediate past president.

Cooper, more than two decades of experience in the travel industry, brings a wealth of insight and leadership to the role of vice president. 

“Her appointment reflects a continued commitment to strengthening the travel industry and championing innovation across all levels of membership,” the SPAA said.

Cooper said: “I’m honoured to have been appointed to the role of vice president of the SPAA and look forward to working closely with colleagues and partners to help shape the future of our industry. 

“Supporting and developing travel professionals is a real passion of mine, and I’m excited to bring that focus to this new role.”
