Holiday Autos new module to cover impact of the Internet

HOLIDAY Autos is to focus on the Internet in its fifth distance-learning module scheduled to be available early next month.

 

 

The module will also have information on using viewdata, while the destination focus will be on California and will include information on what there is for visitors to do in the state. The company said 17,000 of the 20,000 copies of the fourth module, mailed out at the end of January, have been returned.

 

 

Agents who work through each module and successfully complete a questionnaire will receive a certificate.

 

 

The car-rental broker has also issued a quick reference Web guide for agents called No Hanging Around. It has useful hints and tips on how to use Holiday Autos’ Web site and explains how easy it is to get a quote for a client and make a booking on line.

 

 

n Holiday Autos is featured on a global distribution system for the first time after signing an exclusive deal with Worldspan.

 

 

The deal gives agents real-time access to Holiday Autos’ Booking System through the Worldspan Car Select system.
