Holland America Line has put its Europe summer 2028 programme on sale, with an expanded deployment from Dover offering UK passengers more no-fly cruises.
The programme features five ships sailing in Europe: Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Volendam, Zuiderdam and, for the first time in nearly a decade, Nieuw Amsterdam.
Nieuw Statendam will return to the UK for a third consecutive year, with an extra departure to the Canary Islands, taking the total to three, on a longer 14-day itinerary.
The Dover deployment has been increased from 12 departures in 2027, to 16 departures in 2028, which will feature Northern Europe, the Baltics, Scandinavia, the British Isles and Ireland, with longer Collectors’ Voyages combining itineraries into a back-to-back sailing.
Karen Farndell, associate vice-president of sales and marketing, said: “Europe continues to be one of our most popular cruise regions and we are seeing continued demand from British travellers seeking the convenience of sailing directly from Dover.
“Alongside an expanded Dover season, guests can look forward to one of our broadest Europe programmes in recent years, including the return of Nieuw Amsterdam and newly transformed Zuiderdam following Holland America Evolution.
“The summer 2028 season offers more opportunities than ever to discover the rich cultures, iconic cities, and breathtaking landscapes of Europe.”
