Holland America Line puts 2028 Alaska season on sale

Holland America Line has put its 2028 Alaska season on sale, which will feature the first ship to undergo renovations in its Evolution programme.

Oosterdam will be one of six ships deployed in the region and will have new Solo Verandah staterooms, Bridgeview Suites and a Grand Dutch Café.

All of the vessels will offer round-trip sailings from Seattle and Vancouver ranging from seven to 18 days, including a new voyage from San Diego to Vancouver

The 11-day California to Alaska: Shores, Fjords & Glaciers voyage on Zaandam will depart on April 29, with highlights including Glacier Bay National Park, Juneau, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Klawock and Prince Rupert. Fares start from £1,844.

Another new itinerary is the 16-day Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer on Oosterdam from April 28, which features Hubbard Glacier, Prince Rupert, Kodiak, Anchorage and Valdez. The cruise costs from £2,504.

The programme will also feature cruising through Nootka Sound for the first time on selected Great Alaska Explorer and Great Bear Rainforest itineraries.
