Holland America Line unveils 2027/2028 Asia season

Holland America Line has unveiled details of its 2027/2028 Asia season, sailing from September to April on Noordam.

The season includes 15 itineraries ranging from 13 to 15 days, with the majority departing from Tokyo.

Additional departures are available from Singapore, Hong Kong and Seattle.

The cruises will visit destinations in Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.

New calls include the Japanese ports of Hitachinaka, Nagoya and Maizuru, in addition to a new "scenic cruising experience" in Maizuru Bay.

There are overnight stays in Halong Bay, Vietnam; Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Manila, the Philippines; Osaka, Japan; and Shanghai, China.

One highlighted itinerary is the 14-day Circle Japan, with four departures available round trip Tokyo or from Yokohama to Tokyo. Select itineraries include late-night calls at Hiroshima, Osaka (Kobe) and Hakodate, Japan. It costs from £2,799 per person.

Also included is the 14-day Southern Japan, departing February 27, 2028, round trip from Tokyo, which calls at eight ports in Southern Japan, including a maiden call at Nagoya. It also features an overnight call at Osaka as well as a visit to Busan. It costs from £2,829.

The 14-day Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines, departing January 30, 2028 and priced from £2,449, sails from Singapore to Hong Kong, calling at six ports throughout the region, including overnight stays in Manila and Laem Chabang, Bangkok.

Example shore excursions across the season include cliffside temples and villages in Busan; samurai-era castles and local markets in Kochi; and a tour of the ancient city of Hoi An when visiting Da Nang.
