Hotel offers cultural tours

the five-star Palace Hotel in Beijing has launched a series of five-day cultural breaks in the Chinese capital.

 

 

Designed to provide a learning experience, clients see life as it is for locals by visiting a typical Chinese home.

 

 

The package also features an Imperial banquet, a Peking Duck dinner and a dim sum lunch, a calligraphy demonstration, a visit to a furniture restoration factory and a Chinese tea ceremony.

 

 

The package costs from £833 plus tax, including four nights’ full-board accommodation.
