Cheshire-based Inspire Group has launched a new travel card product category called Experiences TravelCard by Inspire.
The card aims to meet the growing demand for “memorable, experiential rewards” and gives card-holders access to thousands of experiences worldwide, from local weekend activities to “once-in-a-lifetime getaway adventures”.
Unlike a traditional gift card for physical products, the Experiences TravelCard offers the chance to choose an activity such as a spa day close to home, a city food tour, tickets to a concert, or flights and holidays.

Inspire reaches more than 6,000 companies through the relationships it has with its B2B partners, offering them a travel-related rewards and incentive programme they can use for their own employees.
The company says that demand from companies for travel rewards is increasing, with TravelCard sales expected to reach a turnover of £10 million this year, up 13% year on year.
Freya Sutcliffe, head of sales and business development reward & recognition, said: “More and more of our clients who use our cards for rewards and incentives tell us the same thing; their people want experiences, not just products.
“Whether that’s a UK concert or event on their doorstep or the adventure of a lifetime overseas, and this card gives them the freedom to choose what matters most to them.
“That’s what builds real, lasting loyalty.”
Lisa Henning, Inspire chief executive, added: “Through our retail travel operations we have exceptionally strong relationships with many of the world’s best known travel brands and the work we do in the TravelCard area specifically, and the bespoke cards like we are launching today, gives these brands a further opportunity to showcase their products and services to a closed user group of clients who have real travel budgets to spend.”
