Jamaica returning to normal following unrest

Resorts on the north coast are operating normally and unofficial roadblocks set up during the violence have been removed, although visitors are being advised to stay away from inner-city Kingston.

The unrest, which broke out last weekend, was sparked off by a police raid in west Kingston searching for illegal weapons, the BBC has reported.
