The Jamaica Tourist Board has created a dedicated role supporting homeworking agents in the UK as it steps up support for the sector.
Donovan Donaldson, previously business development officer for the southern UK, is taking on the newly-created role as BDO for homeworking sellers.
His new remit includes supporting 50 homeworking groups in the UK through targeted training, hybrid fam trips and exclusive resources.
Sean-Pierre Webster has joined the team to step in to the role of BDO for the southern UK.
The JTB is introducing first-of-its-kind hybrid fam trips designed specifically for home-based agents.
They will allow participants to balance work commitments during the mornings while exploring Jamaica.
Eight trips are planned next year showcasing new properties such as the?Riu Aquarelle?and?Princess Resorts. A special trip is also planned for the Jamaica Carnival.

Top-performing agents will be recognised and rewarded throughout the year while the JTB will hold its annual agent roadshow in June 2025 and the Jamaica Travel Market will make a comeback in October.
