Jet2 adds Bristol as fourth departure airport to Bergerac

Extra flights and holidays are being laid on by Jet2 to one of the top wine producing regions in France.

A total of 27,000 seats are now on sale to Bergerac next summer with the addition of flights from Bristol Airport.

The gateway to the Dordogne will be served from Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds Bradford airports, representing a fivefold increase in capacity over this year in response to demand.

Eurocamp holidays in the region are being offered via Jet2holidays, including car hire.

The route from Bristol will operate weekly on Saturdays between May 22 and September 25.

Jet2 now has 37 destinations on sale from Bristol Airport for summer 2027, following the recent addition of Jersey to the network.

Company chief executive Steve Heapy said: “Bergerac is proving to be a very popular destination, so we are delighted to be expanding our programme significantly for summer ‘27.

“The launch of our brand-new Bristol Airport route, alongside new services from Birmingham and Manchester in addition to our existing Leeds Bradford programme, means that customers and independent travel agents have even more opportunity to access this stunning part of France.

“With capacity growing fivefold compared to summer ‘26, this is a fantastic demonstration of our confidence in Bergerac and the Dordogne region.”

Bergerac Airport chief executive Gauthier De Malet added: “This development further strengthens Jet2’s presence at Bergerac and reflects the airline’s confidence in our airport and in the long-term potential of the Dordogne as a destination.
