Jet2 has announced the addition of Tunisia to its summer 2027 programme, operating flights and holidays from five UK bases.
The tour operator and airline will launch services to Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport from May 1, 2027, with the programme running until October 31, 2027.
The addition brings Jet2’s total summer 2027 portfolio to more than 70 destinations, which includes three other recently announced new additions: Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh and Kavala.
Flights and package options will go on sale from Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted airports.
Jet2holidays customers will be able to choose from a range of three to five-star properties across six Tunisian resorts: Port el Kantaoui, Skanes, Mahdia, Sousse, Yasmine Hammamet and Hammamet.
Jet2 chief executive Steve Heapy said the launch was a direct response to demand from customers and independent travel agents.
“This latest expansion demonstrates the strength of our growing business,” Heapy said. “With year-round sunshine, rich culture and fantastic value, Tunisia has something for everyone and we know how immensely popular it will be.”
Fakhri Khalsi, acting UK director at the Tunisian National Tourist Office, welcomed the move, calling it a “significant milestone” for the destination.
“Jet2’s entry into the Tunisian market will provide British travellers with even greater access to our country’s rich cultural heritage, beautiful coastline, authentic experiences, and renowned hospitality,” Khalsi added. “This development is the result of a strong and constructive partnership.”
