Jet2.com and Jet2holidays claim to be the first airline and major tour operator to go on sale with 2026-27 winter sun flights and holidays.
Capacity for winter sun has been raised by four per cent over 2025-26 to provide a record 4.4 million seats.
The airline and tour operator will also reveal details of their ski, city breaks and Iceland programmes for the period “over the coming weeks”.
A total of 14 winter sun destinations have gone on sale from across Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Stansted, Luton, Manchester and Newcastle airports.
New routes from Bournemouth to Malaga and Luton to Palma have been added in addition to the expansion of Morocco, Malta and Madeira programmes.
The airline and tour operator will operate more than 600 weekly outbound flights in peak periods.
Destinations covered include the Canary Islands of Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura; Alicante and Malaga in mainland Spain; Palma, Majorca; Faro and Madeira, Portugal; Antalya, Turkey; Malta, Marrakech and Agadir, Morocco; and Paphos in Cyprus.
Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “We are seeing continued demand from customers wanting to escape the long British winter, so we have stepped in and put our winter ’26-’27 programme on sale from all 13 of our UK airport bases.
"We are pleased to be offering our biggest and most exciting winter sun programme ever, giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice and flexibility for next winter.
"As ever, we have designed our programme in direct response to ongoing demand from holidaymakers, so as well as launching two new winter routes, we are delighted to be expanding our winter offering to other fantastic destinations too.
