Jet2holidays hosted a Greece-inspired event for independent travel agents on Thursday (June 4), along with the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), to help drive sales to the country.
More than 80 agency partners attended the evening event, held at Harbour House in Bristol.
Joining them were Eleni Skarveli, GNTO director, and Jet2holidays’ colleagues, including Alan Cross, travel agent relationships director, and Jet2holidays’ airports and tourism organisations manager, Joe Taylor.
The event aimed to help agents’ understanding of the destination and Jet2holidays’ Greek programme, to help generate more bookings.
The agenda included the latest developments in Greece, such as the suspension of Entry-Exit System (EES) checks, and updates from the GNTO and senior members of the Jet2holidays trade team.
Agents could also network while enjoying Greek mezze, wines and cocktails, accompanied by traditional Greek entertainment and Mamma Mia! tribute performance.
Summer 2026 represents Jet2’s biggest ever programme of flights and holidays to Greece, operating more than 360 weekly services to 15 Greek airports.

With more than 3.5 million seats on sale and 131 routes – including 25 new links – this positions Jet2 as the UK’s largest operator to Greece this summer.
Jet2holidays and the GNTO have long-term strategic partnership to drive demand, promote lesser-known Greek destinations, and extend the season.
Most recently, the two organisations teamed up for “Greek Summer” culinary experience at the BBC Good Food show 2026, using Greek food and culture as a vehicle to promote travel to holidaymakers.
Cross said: “The event allowed partners to get a taste of authentic Greek entertainment and cuisine, while also gaining valuable insights into the latest developments and opportunities across Greece as a leading holiday destination. This is the latest example of us strengthening our partnership approach to working with independent travel agents and giving them every opportunity to improve their knowledge to help drive sales.”
Skarveli added: “Having the opportunity to engage directly with independent travel partners from Bristol allows us to share the latest developments across our destinations and showcase the diversity of experiences that Greece has to offer.
“We were particularly pleased to meet so many travel professionals and provide them with valuable insights into Greek destinations, helping them to better inform and inspire their clients when choosing their next holiday.”
