Kuoni has further extended its guaranteed out-of-date-range flight programme to the end of 2027 in a move which fixes prices for 90% of its most-requested destinations.
The tour operator also said it would commit to fixed-price flights for some routes into January 2028 on request.
The move gives travel agents instant access to fixed-price flights further ahead than ever before in a bid to remove uncertainty about future pricing and encourage clients to book earlier.
It also means agents can book fares without referring to specialist teams and lock-in high-demand hotels at the same time as booking the flight, including boutique properties and safari lodges that typically sell out months in advance.
The Guaranteed Out of Date Range (GOODR) programme now spans 21 countries, 31 departure airports and 14 airlines, across economy, premium and business class cabins.
Key destinations covered by the fixed-price guarantee include the Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Kenya and South Africa.
It follows a decision by the operator to extend the number of destinations covered by the programme up to October 2027 in March last year.
Kuoni said the latest extension reflected an already growing trend by customers to book long-haul trips further in advance, especially for peak times and milestone trips where price fluctuations can be a concern.
All fares are benchmarked against historical data and monitored to ensure they remain competitive.
Sarah Weetman, head of trade partnerships, Kuoni, said: “We’re seeing a clear shift towards customers planning further ahead, particularly for high-value and milestone trips, but uncertainty around flight pricing can still hold them back.
“By extending our Guaranteed Out of Date Range flight programme through to the end of 2027, and into 2028 for some routes on request, we’re giving agents the confidence to offer price certainty and convert bookings sooner.
“Making fares instantly accessible also means agents can respond faster and deliver a smoother booking experience from the outset.”
