LASTMINUTE.COM BUYS TRAVELSELECT.COM

LASTMINUTE.COM has bought flights provider Travelselect.com for £9 million.

The all-share purchase gives Lastminute £50 million worth of flights to sell and greatly improves relationships with major airlines. The deal also gives Lastminute access to Eurostar sales.

Travelselect generated £3.3 million in gross profits on a turnover of £38.2 million in the year to January 31.
