Leger Holidays adds 11 new tours to European rail brochure

Leger Holidays has unveiled 11 new tours in its second rail holidays brochure, Discover Europe by Rail.

The expanded 64-page brochure brings together Leger’s full collection of European travel by rail tours, for 2026 and some 2027 departures, plus a collection of scenic rail experience excursions.

All the holidays start at London’s St Pancras International station Eurostar terminal, with any onward connections made via Europe’s network of high-speed trains. 

The tours are fully escorted by a tour manager who meets clients at St Pancras.

Among the new tours is a four-day Beautiful Bruges & Charming Ghent tour, from £799. It features a Ghent guided walking tour, sightseeing canal cruise and free time to explore Bruges.

Also new is Gardens & Châteaux of the Loire Valley by Rail, a five-day holiday from £995, and Beautiful Provence & the Camargue, an eight-day tour from £1,995, based in Avignon with scenic coach excursions across the region.

Solo travellers are catered for, with Leger Holidays expanding its solo rail programme for 2026.

Two new Italian itineraries join the Solo collection: San Remo, Portofino & the Italian Riviera, and Discover Tuscany, Florence & Pisa by Rail.

Paris also features in the brochure with a Monet’s Garden & Versailles weekend – a new addition to the collection for solo travellers.

As well as travelling by rail, some itineraries also feature Europe’s most scenic rail experiences, such as the Red Train of the Pyrenees, the Ajaccio scenic railway in Corsica, Switzerland’s legendary Glacier Express and the Mont Blanc Express.

Also new for 2026 is an Italian Lakes Walking Holiday, combining rail travel to Northern Italy with guided daily walking tours; and a Rail to River holiday option, travelling by rail to join the MS Serenade for river cruises along the Danube, Dutch Waterways, Rhine or Moselle.
