Leger Holidays has unveiled a new luxury coach called Lumina, which will be taking clients on escorted European tours from spring 2027.
Holidays on Lumina coaches can be booked from Wednesday (June 4), with the option available on more than 40 tours, including the Grand Tour of Switzerland; Lake Garda, Venice & Verona; and La Rioja & San Sebastian – Northern Spain in Style.
The escorted tour specialist said Lumina is its first coach upgrade since the “hugely successful” introduction in 2015 of Luxuria vehicles – described as its “acclaimed business-class-equivalent coach”.
Lumina offers panoramic glass throughout the coach, including a panoramic glass roof, and accommodates 27 guests, “creating an intimate, sanctuary-like environment focused on quiet luxury and personal space”.

Each departure includes a curator who travels with guests throughout the holiday, alongside two hosts.
The leather armchair-style seats have an average legroom of just over one metre, said to be more than many leading airlines, along with a personal entertainment system.
Passengers will have free Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the journey, plus free drinks from the rear onboard servery.
Liam Race, chief executive of Leger Shearings Group, said: “At the beginning of the year we reported that Leger Holidays has seen a clear demographic shift, attracting a more affluent customer base.
“This resulted in longer and more premium holiday bookings, especially via Leger’s exclusive Luxuria coach, which experienced a 25% year-over-year growth.
“Leger Holidays changed the perception of coach holidays with its business-class equivalent coaches.
“Our guests love the stress-free, ultra-comfortable travel experience – avoiding flying and all the exhausting drama, hanging around and uncertainty it can involve.
“It’s a more sustainable way to explore Europe too. The introduction of our exclusively designed, cutting-edge Lumina coach builds on this demand and takes it one step further.”
Ashley Dellow, Leger Shearings Group’s head of retail sales, added: “It’s something genuinely fresh for agents to sell, giving them a distinctive way to inspire customers at a time when demand for premium touring is stronger than ever.
“I’m confident it will elevate European touring and deliver real opportunity for our valued agent partners.”
