libra holidays appoints new MD

LIBRA Holidays has appointed operations director Eli Idrissi to be the new managing director.

Idrissi, who joined the company in March 2001 as operations director, previously held senior positions with International Leisure Group and Flying Colours, of which he was a founder member.

He replaces Andreas Drakou, who will remain with the company in a wider group role, still based in Cyprus.

More senior appointments are expected in the near future, with changes anticipated in the product, overseas and purchasing divisions.

It has yet to be decided who will assume responsibility for operations. The company is also advertising for a new head of product and a senior product executive.
