Lincolnshire Co-op travel operations manager Wayne Dennett is to retire after 32 years.
Making the announcement on LinkedIn, he said he would be moving on to a “new challenge” in the new year.
He is to leave the 13-branch Co-op travel agency arm on January 23.
Dennett, who started at the group as an apprentice in 1993, said: “What a journey it has been. It is now and always has been about the people.
“I have loved working with my teams over the years and made so many memories.
“It feels very odd but I know it was there right time. Have made so many friends for life.”
His departure follows the agency winning best travel business in the east of England at this year’s conference of The Travel Network Group in Bucharest.
