Lynsey Jones to join Ambassador Cruise Line trade team for four months

Ambassador Cruise Line has appointed former Balkan Holidays head of sales and brand Lynsey Jones to join its trade team for four months.

Jones will start in the new role on June 2 following the tour operator’s closure of its UK business in April.

She will work over the remainder of her pregnancy and support the line’s inaugural Caribbean fly-cruise programme this winter, reporting directly to Ambassador’s interim head of trade Karen Cameron.

Jones has worked in the travel industry for 20 years, including roles at Tui, Neilson and Skiworld.

Cameron said: “Lynsey’s considerable knowledge of the travel sector, coupled with her industry experience, make her a perfect fit for the trade team.

“We know her contribution will prove invaluable as we continue to meet the needs and expectations of our guests, whether that be via our incredible range of no-fly itineraries departing ports across the UK or those choosing to fly to the Caribbean to enjoy themselves on board Renaissance this winter.”
