Marella Cruises will be replacing kids’ facilities on Marella Discovery 2 to turn the ship into a permanent adult-only ship from winter 2027-28.
The four new adult-only concepts will be a speakeasy, escape room, karaoke room and arts-and-crafts area.
The entire Tui-owned fleet of five ships will be homeporting out of six European and Caribbean ports including transatlantic and repositional cruises for winter 2027-28.
All winter sailings go on sale from July 2.
Marella Discovery 2 will be homeporting out of three ports during the winter 2027 season with Tenerife and Gran Canaria from November 2027-March 2028, then Malaga from March-April 2028.
Marella Discovery will homeport in La Romana, Dominican Republic, from November 2027-March 2028 followed by Palma, Majorca, from March-April 2028.
Marella Explorer will be sailing out of two homeports throughout the winter season alternating from Tenerife and Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, providing a range of Canarian itineraries.
Marella Voyager and Marella Explorer 2, the other adult-only ship, will be sailing Caribbean itineraries homeporting outside of Barbados throughout the season.
For winter 2027, Marella Discovery 2 will introduce a new seven-night Atlantic Fusion itinerary including a return to Agadir in Morocco.
There will also be a range of five to eight-night repositional cruises including Canarian Collection 2 from Malaga to Gibraltar.
Transatlantic cruises include Voyage to the Tropics on Marella Discovery.
Marella Cruises has also extended its Cruise & Stay offering, with 39 new hotels in Malaga, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Romana, Barbados and Palma.
