Matlock Travel has joined the Advantage Travel Partnership under its managed services model as the Derbyshire agency targets further growth.
The Advantage Managed Services (AMS) model provides agencies with back-office support spanning financial management, supplier relationships and regulatory compliance, enabling agencies to focus on customer-facing activities and business development.
Alison Bell, Matlock Travel managing director, said: “As we look to scale our operations and extend our geographical reach, joining Advantage Managed Services represents a natural evolution for our business.”
The agency, which employs three staff, sells a wide range of trips across the leisure market, including traditional packages, “ultra-luxury escapes” and cruises.
David Moon, head of business development at Advantage, said: “Alison and her team have built an exceptionally successful operation with a remarkably loyal customer base, which directly reflects the superior service standards they consistently deliver.
“We’re excited to support their growth ambitions and look forward to seeing the agency flourish further as part of our membership community.”
Matlock Travel previously operated under Bakewell Travel’s membership of Advantage.
