Morale is atan all-time low

IWRITEin response to the letter from a Travelworld employee about the cleaning dispute at Going Places (Travel Weekly Monday April 3).

 

I'm sorry if you feel we are lazy and simply moan but morale is at an all-time low – staff are not being paid for lunch they can never take and work at least an extra hour unpaid every day.

 

I'm not surprised they have refused to do the cleaning. How can we survive on the pay we have and clean for free? As an assistant manager, I will shortly become manager; but why should Iaspire to become glorified cleaner/shop manager, when I would earn more as a full-time cleaner?
