new appointments at Virgin Atlantic

A340 fleet captain Robin Cox has been promoted to general manager flying. Cox replaces Tony Ling who is to become project pilot of the A380 team.

Meanwhile, flight operations director Malcolm Wagstaff is to retire from the airline next month. He will be replaced by Matthew Lee who has previously worked for Virgin as a consultant.
