New company buys 12 Haven parks for £46 million

A NEW UK holiday park operator has been launched following a £46 million management buyout of 12 Haven Holiday Parks from the Bourne Leisure Group.

Park Resorts was created by a management team lead by David Vaughn, former managing director of Rank Leisure and Rank Entertainment.

Vaughn is now Park Resorts MD.

The new company now owns nine parks in England and three in Wales, making Park Resorts the leading operator of medium-sized caravan parks in the UK. The company is planning to spend £1.5 million this year on permanent resort entertainers, visiting shows and cabaret.
