Report by John Lavabre
A “MAJOR AIRLINE” is to start running a scheduled long haul service from Stansted Airport, London.
Managing director of the airport, John Stent, will formally announce details of the new service tomorrow morning.
The only other details Stanstead bosses would reveal prior to the announcement is that the service will operate on a daily basis.
The furthest scheduled service that currently operates from Stanstead travels to Tel-Aviv. Some long haul charter flights to Canada also leave from the airport.
