Hurtigruten has recruited Hayley Moore as vice-president of sales and marketing for the UK and emerging markets.
Moore, who joins from Princess Cruises, where she was sales director for the UK and Europe, will be responsible for both B2B and B2C channels.
Hurtigruten chief commercial officer Iain Powell said: “We are thrilled to welcome Hayley to the team. Her impressive experience across both sales and marketing, combined with her deep understanding of the trade and consumer landscape, make her the ideal leader to accelerate our growth in these key markets.”
Moore, who will take up her new job in January, was appointed following a “highly competitive recruitment process”, Hurtigruten said.
Powell added: “Hayley’s strong commercial acumen and extensive industry relationships will be invaluable as we continue to inspire more travellers to explore the Nordics with Hurtigruten.”
Moore said: “I’m honoured to join Hurtigruten and excited to share our stories and experiences with new audiences.
“I look forward to collaborating with such a talented team to elevate our sales and marketing strategies, connect with guests in new ways and drive the next wave of growth.”
Eithne Williamson, vice-president for the UK and Europe at Princess Cruises, wished Moore “every success” in her new position.
She added: “We’re immensely proud of Hayley and all she’s achieved during her time at Princess Cruises.
“Her leadership, drive and passion have played a key role in shaping our sales strategy and strengthening our partnerships.
“Hayley will be greatly missed, and we thank her for her significant contribution.”
