Norway explosion claims eighth victim

AN eighth crew member has died from injuries caused by the engine room explosion aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's Norway on May 25.

NCL said five other crew hurt in the blast have been released from hospital.

US maritime experts have completed their investigation into the explosion, which happened while the ship was docked in Miami. NCL is expected to begin repairs shortly and is hoping to reintroduce the ship to service in October.
