Experiences specialist Not In The Guidebooks plans to take 50 agents on fam trips in 2027, double the amount it took away in 2025 and 2026.
It plans to take agents on short-haul and long-haul trips, with Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Lapland already in the pipeline, and other destinations to be confirmed.
The record fam trip programme is part of the company’s plans to deliver more training and engagement for agents.
It builds on the feedback NITGB’s largest ever agent survey, which gathered more than 600 responses.
The initiatives follow the Summer of Stories campaign, which “aims to boost agent confidence, sharpen product knowledge and bring the magic of experiential travel to life through real stories from across the globe”.
Agents who complete the training video and quiz will be entered into a prize draw to win £2,000 towards their own NITGB trip, with extra entries awarded for every booking made this summer.
To further support regional engagement, four more agent events will be held this year, offering more opportunities for in‑person learning and product immersion. The dates and locations are yet to be confirmed.
Manisha Blair, trade marketing manager, said: “Agents asked for more confidence, more first-hand experience and more support, and we’re delivering.
“From our expanded 2027 fam programme to our summer incentive and upcoming regional events, this is our strongest year yet for agent engagement.”
Full details and updates will be available on the NITGB Agent Hub.
