Not Just Travel homeworkers have been urged to prepare for a ‘second peaks’ targeting late bookings.
Co-founder Steve Witt revealed at company summer conference that 60% of bookings are for last-minute holidays.
As a result, the weekend event at East Midlands Conference Centre was perfectly timed to ensure consultants were “primed and ready” to optimise on the lucrative lates market, he noted.
Three hundred people, including 37 key trade partners, took part in a schedule of workshops, alongside panel discussions that paired newer consultants with established agents whose businesses are growing quickly.
Witt said: “Our consultants told us they wanted more time with our trade partners, so we built the programme around that.
“When our consultants and our partners get together in real time, bookings follow. Our entire business is based on relationships, and we invest in ours.”
