Industry veteran Stacey Briggs has returned to the trade at Not JustTravel after taking voluntary redundancy during Covid.
She has been named as business development manager within the homeworking group’s academy.
Briggs brings more than 20 years of travel industry experience to the role, having previously spent more than two decades with DialAFlight.
Her career there included roles as a travel consultant, team manager, and, latterly as a training and learning development specialist, where she delivered sales training to 120 people across the company’s regional divisions.
After taking voluntary redundancy during the pandemic, Briggs spent time outside the sector working with Shift to Success, delivering business training programmes to police and ex-serving police officers.
Briggs will work alongside fellow BDMs and the wider academy team at Not Just Travel, supporting new franchisees through their initial phase of business development.
Her primary focus will be guiding consultants to achieve their first milestone of 10 bookings.
She will help consultants develop their client acquisition strategies, maximise profit margins through supplier selection, build confidence, and implement effective marketing and networking approaches.
Briggs said: ”Coaching is the thing that makes me buzz.
"I can do sales, but helping people improve and watching them develop is what I love. This role ticked all my boxes: a collaborative team environment, home-based, and specialising in coaching."
Not Just Travel co-founder Steve Witt said: "Starting a business in any new industry can feel overwhelming.
“That’s why we’ve created a system that focuses on actions that directly boost sales, whilst also instilling confidence in our consultants to sell with passion and authenticity.
“New recruits join us from other homeworking agencies and tell us that our training surpasses all of our competitors. Every step we take is designed to help our consultants become more knowledgeable, efficient and profitable."
