Ocean Florida’s new Confidence Guarantee aims to buoy agency sales

Ocean Florida has introduced a ‘Confidence Guarantee’, designed to “remove barriers to booking and support agents to make forward sales”. 

The Florida specialist said the launch follows a 33% year-on-year increase in enquiries, “underlining that appetite for Florida holidays remains strong despite wider market uncertainty”.

With customers being “more cautious” about committing to long-haul travel, the Confidence Guarantee aims to help agents address common barriers to booking at the point of sale.

The guarantee offers fixed pricing on all departures up to 2029, with no additional surcharges once a deposit has been paid.  

Ocean Florida is also offering a free date change on selected holidays.

All Ocean Florida holidays are packages sold on behalf of Hays Travel, with Abta and Atol protection.

In the event of flight disruption, customers will be offered the option to rebook or receive a full refund.

Alternative routing options are also helping agents to seal bookings, said the firm, which is part of the Ocean Holidays Group.

The operator is seeing increased interest in flying into Tampa as a “calmer and often better-value “gateway into central Florida.

To support this trend, Ocean Florida is offering up to $300 Uber credit for customers arriving at Tampa, to cover return transfers between Tampa and Orlando.

Harry Hastings, co-chief executive of Ocean Florida, said: “Despite the headlines, demand for Florida remains strong, but customers are understandably taking longer to commit.

“The Confidence Guarantee gives agents stronger tools to overcome that hesitation, from long-term price certainty and flexible booking policies to alternative arrival options like Tampa, helping turn intent into confirmed bookings.”
