Oceania Cruises unveils programme for 2028 and 2029

Oceania Cruises has introduced its programme for 2028 and 2029, extending to more than 230 itineraries and more than 60 overnight stays.

The cruise line said the timing of the double launch of two full seasons would give travel agents the opportunity to plan ahead.

Oceania Cruises chief luxury officer Jason Montague added: “Launching sailings for 2028 and 2029 underscores our commitment to giving guests and travel advisors the confidence and time to plan the journeys that truly matter.”

The sailings, which range from seven to 180 days in duration, include extended time in Copenhagen, Lisbon, Bangkok, Bali, Seville and Malé among other destinations.

Oceania Riviera will return to Alaska in summer 2028 before transitioning to Asia-focused sailings, including a greater emphasis on Japan. Itineraries feature lesser-visited ports including Kagoshima, Ishigaki and Miyazaki – destinations inaccessible to larger ships – alongside calls in Tokyo and Osaka.

Oceania Aurelia will sail its first world cruises in 2028 and 2029, offering 180-day itineraries from Miami and Los Angeles which end in New York.

Oceania Allura will return for a second Mediterranean winter season in 2028 and 2029, visiting Greece, Turkey, Italy and Spain from November until March. The cruise line is offering more than 80 Mediterranean itineraries, representing its most diverse range of sailings in the region to date. 

Montague said: “This new, expansive collection reflects our passion for immersive travel opportunities and offers guests the chance to explore a little further with more depth thanks to more than 60 overnight stays.”

He added: “From the historic harbours of the Mediterranean to the remote fjords of New Zealand, each sailing reflects our belief that the world’s greatest destinations deserve to be experienced, not simply visited.”
