Villa specialist Oliver’s Travel has expanded further in France with the purchase of villa rental company Lac Montagne.
The acquisition means Oliver’s Travel has added 20 holiday homes to its collection in Annecy, France, bringing it to a total of 27 villas in the French resort.
The company said: “The acquisition of Lac Montagne further increases Oliver’s Travels presence in France, its strongest destination, and is a great addition to the company’s Lakes and Mountains collection.”
Oliver Bell, co-founder of Oliver’s Travels, said: “Annecy and the surrounding Alpine region have always been close to my heart – it’s one of those rare places that truly offers it all, from lake views to mountain adventures.
“Adding Lac Montagne’s exclusive portfolio of villas allows us to bring this stunning part of France to even more of our guests, whether they’re looking for an alpine summer escape or a ski-season getaway.
“It’s a brilliant fit for our Lakes and Mountains collection and another exciting step in growing our French collection."
This addition follows the company’s largest acquisition to date with Pure France earlier in October and is the latest in a series of strategic moves.
In 2024, Oliver’s Travels acquired Menorca Private Owners, Homes & Provence and Charming Houses, and continues to focus on growing and developing its portfolio with more acquisitions to come this year.
Oliver’s Travels said it continues to be “actively looking to acquire new businesses”.
