On-line travel portal appoints chief marketing officer

ON-LINE Travel Portal, the pan-European travel portal backed by nine major airlines, has appointed Nicolas De Santis as marketing director.

De Santis joins from Beenz.com the currency Web site where he was chief marketing officer.

OTP, which is yet to be launched or officially named, will sell travel and travel related products on the Internet. It is backed by British Airways, Aer Lingus, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Finnair, Iberia, KLM and Lufthansa.
