Operators reject chance to Aspire

Institute of Travel and Tourism chairman Steven Freudmann has rounded on three of the big four for failing to support next month’s Aspire conference for industry newcomers.

Three hundred delegates have registered for the event, but of the big four, only Thomas Cook has supported Aspire, taking just 30 places for new staff.

Freudmann said: “It’s disappointing that MyTravel, TUI and First Choice have spurned the opportunity.”
