Panorama to offer discounts on early bookings

PANORAMA is offering discounts of 10% on early bookings in its first-edition winter ski 2001/02 brochure.

This is the first season the operator has offered discounts on its winter ski holidays. They only apply on bookings made before August 31.

Senior marketing manager Owen Whitehead said: “Skiers are human and like everyone they are looking for the best deals. Through experience we have found out that discounts help seal the deal – why shouldn’t this apply to skiing?”

Whitehead could not rule out a higher discount rate in the second-edition winter ski brochures, due out in the autumn, but branded discounts over 25% “silly”.
