UK airlines are squealing at US Government plans that could see passengers sharing cabin space with pigs.
Under the new proposals, the US Department of Transportation wants all carriers crossing its borders to adopt its rules regarding air travel access for disabled passengers.
And under US law, a carrier cannot turn away a pig if it is a service animal accompanying a disabled passenger.
The ruling applies to any service animal – and in the US, that could mean a miniature pony or even a monkey.
