Ponant has opened bookings for its Antarctic 2028-29 programme, including a full circumnavigation of the continent.
Between November 2028 and February 2029, Le Boréal, Le Lyrial, Le Soléal and Le Commandant Charcot will offer more than 30 departures to Antarctica between them.
Le Commandant Charcot will sail a 60-night circumnavigation of Antarctica on January 11, 2028, travelling more than 23,000 km and taking in the Ross Sea, Mount Erebus and Adélie Land.
Two shorter 30-night half-circumnavigations are also available, between Ushuaia and Hobart.
Another highlighted voyage includes a 10-night exploration itinerary which is designed for first-time explorers, with all departures including one night’s hotel stay in Buenos Aires (Argentina) the night before departure, return flights between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, and transfers.
The season will also include a selection of itineraries that combine the Antarctic Peninsula with Patagonia, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the Subantarctic Islands.
