Prager axed in Utell staff restructuring

UTELL operations managing director Mike Prager has become a casualty of a management restructure at the company.

Further job losses are expected among the hotel representation and marketing company’s 1,000-plus global workforce following a decision to disband its worldwide divisional and regional structure.

Prager, who joined from Inter-Continental Hotels, is leaving after only 18 months in the post as Utell prepares to create new roles of four vice-presidents covering different areas of the business. He is one of seven managing directors being axed.

As part of the restructure, Utell will retain all three divisional offices, with London becoming responsible for all marketing functions.
