Premier Holidays has appointed Lorna Curry as head of long-haul product.
Curry will be responsible for the “strategic direction” of the operator’s long-haul portfolio, including product development and supplier partnerships.
She started her travel career with Premier Holidays and has 20 years of experience in the travel industry, most recently working at First Class Holidays.
The appointment comes as the operator recently recruited Dom Carrick as head of trade sales.
Niki Waters, managing director, said Curry’s experience would help the operator expand its portfolio with “exciting new destinations, unique itineraries and immersive experiences”.
Waters said: “We are delighted to welcome Lorna back to Premier Holidays.
“She brings an exceptional depth of product knowledge, commercial expertise and leadership experience, making her the ideal person to shape the future of our long-haul portfolio.
“As a long-haul tailor-made specialist, we’re committed to continually evolving our product to meet changing customer demand.”
Waters added: “As we celebrate 90 years in travel, we’re also looking firmly to the future.
“We’ve strengthened our senior leadership team with a wealth of new expertise, invested in new technology, enhanced our website and systems, and are continuing to modernise the business to ensure we remain at the forefront of tailor-made travel.
“Lorna’s appointment is another important step in that journey, and we’re incredibly excited about what’s to come over the next 12 months.”
Curry said: “I’m delighted to be returning to Premier Holidays at such an exciting time for the business.
“The company has an outstanding reputation for quality, expertise and customer service, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to build on that success.
“There are fantastic opportunities to further develop our long-haul portfolio, strengthen supplier relationships and create even more inspiring holidays for our customers and valued travel agent partners.”
