Premier Travel has held its first-ever managers’ conference at sea, with the two-day event taking place on Marella Explorer 2.
The agency partnered with Tui to organise last month’s gathering, which offered learning and networking opportunities ahead of the peak-selling season.
Holly Shotter, manager of Premier Travel’s branch in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, said: “The sessions delivered by Marella, Tui and Tui Musement were incredibly valuable, especially with peaks just around the corner.
“Having the opportunity to be onboard and experience everything first-hand has really boosted my knowledge and confidence, and I know it will make a real difference when supporting our customers.”
The cruise, which sailed from Tenerife to Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, included a full day of conference sessions as well as a ship tour.
Beyond the business agenda, agents took part in the sail away party and the dress-to-impress night and also enjoyed a theatre show and a disco.
Premier Travel managing director Paul Waters said: “On behalf of the Premier Travel team, I want to extend our sincere thanks for organising our first managers’ conference in conjunction with Tui, Marella Cruise, and Tui Musement.
“Their support and kindness made the event a great success, creating a fantastic environment for learning, collaboration and team-building.”
Andrew Isherwood, head of trade relations at Tui, said: “We’re proud to have supported Premier Travel’s first managers’ conference at sea.
“Events like this strengthen partnerships, boost product knowledge and build confidence ahead of the busy season.
“At Tui, we’re committed to creating opportunities that inspire, educate and connect the travel industry and this collaboration is a great example.”
