Research will boost ABTA’s lobbying sway

ABTAhas commissioned a survey into what travel and tourism contributes to the economy to raise its lobbying power with the Government.

 

 

ABTA chief executive Ian Reynolds said the investment would enable ABTA to have facts at its fingertips to support its lobbying efforts.

 

 

“Part of that is improving the quality of research so we have the facts to support our arguments.

 

 

“We’ve been doing benchmarking surveys and pay surveys and we have commissioned Oxford Economic Forecasting to look into travel and tourism’s contribution to the economy.”
