Riviera Travel has introduced regional flights from Aberdeen and Inverness based on agent and customer feedback.
The flights will be available on “selected worldwide destination departures” from August.
The operator offers flights from 17 other regional airports and has promised customers will pay the same holiday price regardless of departure point.
For Aberdeen, featured itineraries served by the new flights include Gastronomy of the Seine River Cruise, Rhine Cruise to Switzerland, Burgundy, the River Rhône and Provence River Cruise and The Blue Danube River Cruise.
The Rhine Gorge & Cologne Discovery River Cruise leads in at £1,124 for a November 7 sailing.
For Inverness, featured itineraries which include the regional flights include the Lyon, Provençal Rhône & the Camargue River Cruise, Burgundy, the River Rhône and Provence River Cruise and Medieval Germany: Bavaria and the Romantic Road.
The Seine, Paris and Normandy River Cruise for Solo Travellers starts from £2,199 for a departure on November 9.
